The categories of membership in the OC/LB Consortium are agency members and individual members.  Agency members consist of public and private service and educational institutions offering or participating in nursing education programs, agencies employing nurses, and professional nursing organizations in the OC/LB area. Individual members are members not representing an agency who have an interest in nursing education, research, and/or the promotion of quality health care through education endeavors in the OC/LB area.  Honorary membership may be conferred on those persons chosen for outstanding service in their field.

Any employee of a member agency may attend and participate in general meetings. All individual members may attend and participate in general meetings.  All members must participate in one committee a year.

Each member shall have one vote.  Persons holding individual or honorary membership may not vote.
